The Cruse Bereavement Support Foundation Course (BSF)
Cruse Bereavement Care is looking for volunteers to work in Buckinghamshire
Are you a good listener? Do you enjoy working with people?
Cruse Bereavement Care is a charity which provides information and support to bereaved people, providing a wide range of services including information, support groups, telephone support and one-to-one sessions, throughout Buckinghamshire.
You could make a difference as a Bereavement Volunteer if, following the Cruse BSF training, you have around 2-3 hours per week to spare, to see clients in the Buckinghamshire Unitary Authority Area, covering Aylesbury, Chiltern & South Bucks and High Wycombe. Volunteers find Cruse work an enriching experience and are well supported in their work with clients – there is monthly supervision for everyone.
Volunteers are provided with high quality bereavement training. The dates of our next Bereavement Support Foundation course have yet to be decided.
Our experiential training programme involves course work, including regular portfolio work, which will be a record of your learning, training and development as a Bereavement Volunteer. If you are interested in becoming a Bereavement volunteer or volunteering for Cruse in another capacity please contact us.
